| First update in a while... There have been some changes in my life over the past six months As for job, my manager told me to join a team of modem repairs. After a few months of the soldering training, finally I was allowed to begin reparing a modem...but I'm sick of electronic circuit diagram... My head pounds with every sight of it. Anyway I'll do my best and learn more about repair methods. In April, I started to attend school to get a Japanese teaching license. I need to go to school after work - three or four times in a week. At first I couldn't manage to work and study at the same time, but now I'm gradually getting used to this life. Although making a teaching plan takes up too much time, it's a very important task especially for student teachers. Even after adequate preparations, I was very nervous about my first teaching. I took the education-related exam last Sunday. It was really difficult... My half-year study was not enough. I'll take this exam again next year. *Have a nice day* | | |
| I went to China for sightseeing at the beginning of this month. The two main purposes during this trip were to see Great Wall I've wanted to visit for a long time, and to make use of the experience of studying Chinese. I actually had some opportunities to have a conversation with the local people, but it could hardly say that I caught their Chinese perfectly. Too fast for me However, this experience would be invaluable in my life. Although my Chinese pronunciation is really poor, the moment they understand what I want to say makes me happy. Some friendly Chinese talked to me in Japanese. They are young(20~21 years old) and came to work in Beijing from the northern part of China. They've never visited Japan, but can speak Japanese fluently. One of them told me that she wanted to go to Tokyo some day. Tiananmen Square
Gugong - Known by "The Last Emperor"(1987) Finally, Great Wall! I'm so impressed to see such a wonderful man-made structure. There are lots of world heritage sites in the world, so I want to visit them as many as possible. We must continue to cherish these historical heritages for our ancestors and descendants. Not only for them but for this beautiful earth.
It's very cold and windy.
Had a very good time in Beijing. I was very sad on the departure day, especially when my plane was about to take off from the runway. The 2008 Olympics will be held in Beijing, so I have a plan to visit there again at that period. I also wanna go to other places in China such as Shanghai, Guilin. Can't wait for the day! Bye bye, China

| Happy New Year!! (In Japanese, Akemashite omedetou) I wish everyone a very wonderful year 2007 Stay happy and healthy! On New Year's Day, we Japanese eat traditional dishes called osechi, and also go to temples and shrines to make wishes for new year. The visit is called hatsumoude. Children receive some money(otoshidama), which is in small and cute envelopes, from his or her parents, grandparents and relatives. Sadly I can't get it any more because I'm an adult. osechi
What kind of dream did you have on New Year's Day? The first dream in the year is quite meaningful to us throughout the ages. I dreamed of myself - I got a new bf(but I don't know who he is) in the dream Half a year has passed since I broke up with my last bf. Honestly speaking, I can't forget him still now, but I wish the dream would turn to reality in this year. Even if it never happens to me, I expect to get more friends regardless of gender, age, nationality and build up good relationship with them. Best wishes to all of you! *Have a nice day* | | |

| I've just read the interesting article. Japanese airline, ANA(All Nippon Airways), is selling discount airline tickets for round-the-world trip in cooperation with Virgin Atlantic Airways. It costs 335,000yen for economy class(30%~50% off). This fare is still expensive for me and we are permitted to have a stopover to three times only with the ticket, however, it's really great considering that it usually costs about at least 120,000yen to US, for example. I'm also interested in sailing around the world, but it's priced at about 4,000,000yen(too expensive ). Instead we can visit many countries. I wish I could join the tour some day and make many foreign friends on my journey! Hmm..can't guess when my dream comes true... *Have a nice day* | | |
